Stephen Howard
Attorney Stephen Howard is part of Stone River Law, a team of Utah lawyers known for providing high quality legal representation and service to clients all over the state of Utah. He graduated with honors from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark School of Law. He has served previously as a member of the Board of Directors and as interim Executive Director of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Experience
Mr. Howard has spent nearly 25 years helping his clients meet their legal needs in and out of the courtroom. His legal career began with the Salt Lake Legal Defense Association, where he quickly advanced to positions on the Association’s felony defense team and capital defense team. During the decade he spent with the Legal Defense Association, Mr. Howard spent thousands of hours in the court, giving him more courtroom experience than most attorneys see in their entire careers.
In private practice, Mr. Howard has helped clients achieve peace of mind by helping them create wills, trusts, and other estate planning tools. He also assists families and individuals clients with the adoption process, obtaining guardianship, and more.
